1. Baseline Evaluation

We will perform your baseline evaluation – which includes “before” reference photographs and a body composition analysis with our Tanita Health WareTM Software. Our Tanita scale is a highly accurate and personalized method for measuring bodyweight, BMI, body fat %, hydration level, bone mass and metabolic rate. Our scale is not intrusive (no pinching, squeezing or tape measuring) and takes about 3 seconds to complete. Body Stats are performed every 15 sessions as part of your BX Strength Training program. You will be able to view and chart your progress in our customized App that is free to all members.

2. Body Of Excellence Resistance Training Protocol

The exercise portion of your first official personal training session consists of introducing you to our Body of Excellence Protocol and how you can feel comfortable and have the confidence to perform each exercise with the correct form. We demonstrate each movement and explain proper positioning, alignment, breathing, and pace. We identify your strengths, weaknesses, and imbalances - and implement a very customized plan combining resistance, flexibility, cardio, and injury prevention. We are right there with you – closely guiding you through every repetition of every exercise.

3. Documentation of Progress

Your private workout journal includes records such as the order of the exercises, seat settings, weights, and reps. We also keep track of any feedback you provide us and use it to modify and “evolve” your program. Education is a big part of the EIF philosophy, and it begins with your first session. We instruct you in the correct exercise form and provide you with information about proper nutritional habits, functional movements, and stretching exercises - holding you accountable by assigning “homework” to guarantee your success.

+ How long can I expect a session to last?

Our private training sessions are designed to give you the most impact in the shortest amount of time. Each session lasts for only 30 minutes - that’s all that’s necessary to give you the results you want.

+ Will I have the same coach for every session?

At EIF, we assign every member a Client Accountability Representative (CAR) to ensure your success. Although you may be training with different Coaches, there will be one Coach you'll see regularly who is responsible for your Ultimate Personal Training Experience. This includes performing measurements at regular intervals, making nutritional recommendations, designing your program, giving out exercise “homework,” and, most importantly, getting you the results you deserve to meet and exceed your expectations!

+ How should I prepare for my first session?

The most important way to prepare for your first session is to come to the studio with an open mind and a desire to learn. Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. You can also bring a personal water bottle for during and after your workout.
